The aim of our small community group is to defend the single-dwelling covenant, maintain the neighbourhood character and protect the natural habitat and leafy green corridor of the Yarra River precinct, Melbourne.

Single Dwelling Covenant
The McCubbins Estate has one of the tightest held single dwelling covenants in Victoia. This is because residents have defended this covenant many times since the 1950s in the Supreme Court. A single dwelling covenant means only a single residence can be built on any block and not multiple units, townhouses or high-rise apartments.
